Dog Sled Saga is a great simple game on Steam that requires the player to own several sled dogs in order to compete in dog sled races.
The game is in a pixel style format, and has a cute traditional aesthetic to it. The music is equally as good as the game, offering a simple list of songs that feel organic to the game.
In the game, each league allows you to race a set number of dogs for money, which you need in order to hire more dogs, hire workers to help with your current dogs, or for breeding and expanding your kennel. Higher leagues allow for more dogs on a sled team, but the beginning number is 3.
